P3-25-01: Sociotechnical Risk in the Energy Transition (Stage 2)

Status: Completed

Project Overview

Successful risk management through the energy transition requires a sociotechnical view which focuses on the people who are involved in every aspect of selecting, governing, leading, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining technological systems. The objective of this research is to produce a tool for identification of sociotechnical risks linked to any given energy transition activity / project. The tool will be based on previous FFCRC research but will also capture lessons from energy transition activities to date to ensure that risks are well managed through the energy transition.
